In this role, the Sr. Contracts Specialist shall proactively provide support to contract management and directors of a particular in administering government, international and commercial contracts. Under the direction of leadership, they will support all aspects of contract management throughout the contracting process, from pre-proposal activities through contract closure. In performing this role, the Contracts Specialist will:
- Support the review and risk analysis of solicitations and terms and conditions in coordination with your supervisor.
- Participate in bid/no bid decisions and proposal review meetings.
- Review cost proposals, maintain cost and pricing data records for TINA compliance, support fact-finding, DCAA audits, and negotiations.
- Proactively administer a variety of contracts (government/commercial, domestic/international) of all types (cost reimbursement, fixed price, incentive, award fee, IDIQ, time and material, etc.) and modifications thereto.
- Prepare and coordinate business correspondence, generate required contract-related reports, and maintain accurate and complete contract files and records for the company.
- Remain actively engaged with (and serve as an integral member of) designated program teams and develop strong interfaces with personnel in other functional areas.
- Participate in program reviews, monitor program performance (contract schedules, deliverables, funding, invoicing, and payments), and notify contract managers or directors of potential non-compliances or other problems that could have an adverse impact on the company.
- Identify and administer contract changes and coordinate resolution of contract issues with your supervisors.
- Actively administer the closeout of completed contracts.
- Ensure contract management activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and customer requirements.
- Ensure coordination with Legal on contract matters that may have legal significance (such as, identifying to Legal non-standard or potentially high-risk terms and conditions) prior to advising management of contractual risks, rights and obligations, and terms and conditions interpretations.
Required Skills:
- Solid knowledge and understanding of basic contracting principles and all contract types.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of the federal acquisition process, government contracting principles and governing regulations (including FAR/DFAR).
- Demonstrated experience in government contract administration.

A Sr Maintenance Electrician, under general supervision, is required to perform any and all tasks assigned by management based on the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
· Primary duties may include performing electrical troubleshooting and repairs on systems up to 3 phase 480 volts, electrical installations, repair of lighting, and performing equipment preventative maintenance related to electrical components.
· Additional duties may include performing HVAC troubleshooting and repairs, light mechanical repairs, painting, light carpentry, and general equipment preventative maintenance.
· Perform preventative and repair tasks related to facility structure and equipment using diagnostics devices (i.e., multimeter, amp probe, phase meter, etc.) which are all provided by the Company.
· Be able to read and work from electrical schematics and to trace electrical wiring.

About This Role
Shipfitting is considered as the primary area of expertise, under general supervision, is required to perform any and all tasks assigned by management based on the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
Perform duties of a Sr Shipfitter on a daily basis is essential.
- Typical job duties involve structural fitting and tack welding of various assembly and sub-assembly parts on the vehicle.
- Works from Engineering drawings, sketches and written and verbal instructions.
- Maintains records, forms and logs as required.
- Typical tools and equipment used in the performance of duties are MIG and TIG welders, manual hand tools, mechanical, pneumatic, cordless and electric tools including porta power, come along, clamps, hammers and mauls, gougers, grinders, saws, band saws, drills, tapes and scales.
- Must be capable of handling chemicals and solvents including alcohol, cleaning solvents, cutting oil, tool oil, etc.
- Housekeeping of shop and work area (keeping work area neat and clean) daily.
- Must visually inspect work to drawings and sketches for completeness and dimensional correctness.

About This Role
The Principal Export/Import Compliance Analyst will proactively oversee all export compliance matters for Textron Marine & Land located in Slidell, Louisiana. S/he will interact with employees at all levels and will work both independently and with other members of the business and members of the Legal, Contracts & Compliance Department staff on a variety of interesting international trade compliance matters. The role requires successful management of a broad range of responsibilities in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

• Provide a full range of proactive export compliance guidance to program management, contracts, procurement, business development, shipping, security and other functional areas within the Company
• Prepare and submit DDTC and Commerce license applications, Technical Assistance
• Assist in the research and interpretation of export compliance regulations
• Agreements, Manufacturing License Agreements and Warehousing Distribution Agreements
• Determine the applicability of ITAR exemptions, ECCNs and use of Commerce exceptions
• Work collaboratively with in-house attorneys and outside counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Support responses to Customs queries such as CF28s & CF29s.

SUMMARY
The Supplier Quality Engineer will oversee quality assurance processes, implement quality control measures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves the development, implementation, and maintenance of protocols and procedures to ensure products are manufactured and assembled to the highest standards. Additionally, the Senior Quality Engineer will lead process improvement activities at supplier facilities to enhance product quality for Lycoming Engines. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Six Sigma methodologies, AS9100 standards, and FAA regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leads, plans, organizes, monitors, and conducts supplier audits to quality standards (AS9100) in support of supplier selection and improvement.
• Drives effective root cause analyses and corrective actions for Lycoming Engines and its customers.
• Spearheads process improvement activities at supplier facilities.
• Facilitate preventive actions and supplier process control projects that improve the quality of products delivered to Lycoming Engines.
• Compiles and analyzes data to make informed decisions to drive supplier quality improvement.
• Evaluates suppliers’ performance and implements necessary enhancements.
• Works closely with the receiving inspection team to resolve any issues with parts or paperwork from suppliers.

About This Role
This position will ensure compliance with Customs and Participating Government Agency requirements on imports, and optimize use of special trade programs such as Free Trade Agreements, etc.
· Develop, document, implement and maintain internal controls for compliance with Free Trade Agreement.
· Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives Registration, and Permits preparation experience in support of Business Development & Planning and Contracts Departments.
· Serve as in-house expert for all FTA inquiries
· Manage POA's and Customs bonds for all TSC BU's as needed.
