Job Summary:
The Senior Content & Communications Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing a multichannel editorial strategy for Textron Systems. Reporting to the Manager, External Communications, this position is part of Textron Systems’ Marketing & Communications team. The Senior Content & Communications Strategist will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to understand key business strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, translating these into a unified content strategy covering a multitude of channels including, but not limited to, social media, web and print. Curating contributed content for these channels, as well as leading development of a variety of content, this individual will align planning with the external communications team across PESO (paid, earned, social, owned) media and use key performance indicators to evaluate the performance of content and make strategic recommendations for continuous improvement. This role requires 5-7 years of proven experience, as well as strong cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and measurably successful results.
Job Responsibilities (may include, but not limited to):
· Partnership with stakeholders and external communications team to recommend and execute content that drives brand recognition and positive perception in the marketplace among key stakeholder groups, in alignment with PESO content planning for brand and business line support
· Manage segment social media channels and editorial calendar, with due consideration for channel and audience differentiation to achieve expected KPI results and audience growth
· Understand and interpret highly technical information and translate into multiple content types for product lines and capabilities to support brand journalism

About This Role
Textron Systems is hiring a Marketing & Communications (MARCOM) Business Partner who will be based at the company’s New Orleans, Louisiana Shipyard. The team designates MARCOM Business Partners for each of our business lines, which are part of the company’s comprehensive portfolio of capabilities. MARCOM Business Partners serve as a first point of contact (POC) for emerging business line questions and requirements. Of equal importance, they work proactively with the business lines to discuss long-range business strategies including new business capture and keep-it-sold efforts. The Business Partners then engage the broader MARCOM team’s centers of excellence – Creative Services/Digital Development, External Communications, Employee & Leader Communications, Trade Shows & Events – to partner on development, execution and measurement of comprehensive, multichannel MARCOM strategies in support of their business line(s).
As a MARCOM Business Partner, you will:
• Work collaboratively with your assigned business lines at all levels, as well as with the broader MARCOM team, to create, execute and measure annual MARCOM plans, encompassing compelling campaigns and content that support domain strategies and growth.
• Use research, analytics and other resources to become an expert on stakeholder audiences.
• Research the competitive landscape to inform product/program positioning and messaging, and craft clear and compelling value propositions for our products and programs that differentiate us in the marketplace.
• Alongside the broader MARCOM team, develop, execute and measure MARCOM strategies tailored to specific audiences, ensuring that messaging aligns with each audience to drive engagement.

THE HIRING OF THIS ROLE IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD OF CONTRACT
About This Role
This position will serve as on-site crewmember in support of deployed (OCONUS) UAS flight operations. Duties will include aircraft/sensor operations, mission coordinator activities, maintenance, and logistical tasks in support of the Aerosonde Mk 4.7 UAS system. Perform as a Subject Matter Expert on all aspects of UAS operations. Participate in daily flight operations, site stand-ups and interface with customers. Additional duties will include emplacement, displacement, inspection, and repair of associated equipment as well as proper notation of logbooks and flight records.
Primary duties will require extensive travel, both domestically and internationally including deployments and training exercises. Deployment locations vary between heavily populated US Coalition bases, austere forward operating bases, and other areas throughout the world.
Responsibilities
· Operational support of deployed flight operations
· Perform as a deployed Aerosonde UAS Crewmember
· Travel and deploy worldwide with Domestic and Foreign Militaries as well as Domestic and International Customers as required
· Direct interface with military customers
· Work in groups or independently with minimal or no supervision
· Will be required to work odd shifts, weekends, and/or extended hours
· Responsible for data management and generation
· Provide support for general logistics functions
· Maintain site support equipment IAW maintenance procedures outlined in initial training
· Troubleshoot technical problems and communicate/implement technical solutions
· Practice ISO 9001 principles and concepts
Physical Requirements:
Flight crews are required to complete crew chief and maintenance qualification activities. These qualifications require the ability to lift the aircraft as a two-person lift, approximately 40-50lbs per person. Crewmember must be able to walk with the aircraft and load onto the launcher. Following loading the aircraft, crewmember must perform preflight launch items that may take up to or more than 30-45 minutes of standing and maneuvering around the launcher system. Outside of launch/recovery operations, crewmember responsibilities may include inventory management activities and must be able to perform physical work requirements during a 12 to 14-hour shift in a deployed environment. Deployed temperatures range from -10ºF to 115ºF dependent on the locations and seasons. This position is also subject to the below physical requirements-
Deployment conditions may include, but not limited to:
· Deployed in austere environments for 6-9 months of the year
· 12-14 hour work shifts 7 days per week for duration of deployment.
Inventory and maintenance management activities to include but not limited to:
· Rotating Launch/recovery trailer
· Replacing launcher material up to two-man lifts of 150+lbs
· Maneuvering aircraft within maintenance hangar
· Organizing inventory
o Loading and palletizing materials onto air force 365L pallets utilizing tri-walls
o Moving inventory and materials from the shelf to the maintenance hangar
The Training Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs to ensure compliance with AS9100, System Level Procedures (SLP’s), Certified Repair Station processes, among other industry standards. This role involves conducting needs assessments, developing training plans, administration, and oversight of training programs to support both bargained and non-bargained employees.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and administer training programs to ensure compliance with AS9100, SLP’s, Certified Repair Station processes, procedures, and other standards.
Conduct needs assessments for both bargained and non-bargained employees and develop targeted training plans.
Interpret and apply organizational policies, procedures, and work instructions for use in skills assessment and training.
Develop and coordinate training curriculum, programs, procedures, and plans to meet organizational goals.
Collaborate with all departments to help assess and coordinate training efforts to meet department needs.
Create and maintain a standardized record-keeping system to track training administration and associated costs.
Develop and conduct training courses and/or work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to create and administer training.
Assist with the development and administration of employee testing programs, including Train-the-Trainer programs.
Provide metrics reports as requested.
Review current training programs and methodologies and recommend improvements.
Coordinate training with external industry partners as needed.
Work closely with local, state, and federal grants for training program funding (e.g., WEDnet).
Ensure all employees receive the necessary training to perform their roles safely and effectively.
· Continuously improve training programs to enhance employee performance and operational efficiency.
· Maintain compliance with all regulatory training requirements.

About This Role
Under limited supervision, performs complex and diverse administrative tasks for contracts associated with government, commercial and international customers. In performing this role, the Sr. Contracts Assistant will:
- Gather data, maintain logs, and prepare reports for both internal and external customers
- Ensure contract deliverables are accurately tracked and reported?
- Review incoming contract documents for accuracy and completeness, prepares and routes documents for approvals, enters approved data into the corporate database, and maintains accurate and complete contract files, databases, and records
- Update and maintain System for Award Management (SAM) for all Business Lines and site locations.
- Schedules and coordinates internal and external meetings and training seminars
- Supports process improvement initiatives through inception to execution
- Support audit teams and government inquiries by coordinating and preparing responses

Responsibilities
· Oversee and execute functional and environmental testing of electronics, including directing and guiding junior test engineers
· Coordinate, schedule and lead test activities to ensure that test requirements and objectives are met per customer/program requirements and engineering and quality standards.
· Lead both in-house and field data collection activities including setup and operation of high-speed cameras, telemetry systems, onboard instrumentation, and data recorders.
· Generate Test Plans that provide verification method of system requirements and identify necessary test equipment, fixtures, and facilities.
· Perform Test Readiness Reviews and produce Test Reports
· Perform preliminary “quick-look” analysis and provide post-test de-brief to engineering team and customers
· Analyze electrical program requirements for consistency and completeness, resolve discrepancies.
· Determine measurement techniques, identify and procure instrumentation, and design test systems to perform requirements verification.
· Provide acceptance criteria specified as measurable parameters for validation of system requirements including digital, analog, and timing outputs
· Analyze and document requirements for automation of test processes, measurement acquisition, and data analysis and for efficient utilization of resources (test range, environmental equipment, etc)
· Analyze and document for test hardware and software engineers strategies for implementation of tests in real world performance conditions including for example min/max parameter limits
· Analyze system interfaces to ensure complete coverage of test requirements.
· Coordinate with appropriate program, engineering and external organizations during test planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases
· Collaborate with multi-discipline design team to produce Test Procedures and Data Collection methods.
· Familiarity with Mil-Spec testing requirements as well as vibration, shock, and environmental test methods and equipment is desired
· Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and in writing) and have good organizational skill.
