JOB SCOPE:
● Create and maintain detailed operational processes for parts, sub-assemblies, and engine build ensuring that mistake proofing techniques are incorporated into these processes.
● Utilization of CAD systems for the design, detail, and checking of simple to intermediate level jigs, fixtures, gauges, tools, and simple machines.
● Creation and maintenance of simple to intermediate level CNC programs for multiple axis machine tools including writing, editing, troubleshooting, and correcting tooling/programming problems.
● Tool designer owns process and program until proven out.

About This Role
The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for maintenance actions on Airborne Tactical Advantage Company’s aircraft as well as the safe and expeditious launch and recovery flight line operations at permanent and detachment sites.
Responsibilities
• Maintenance efforts in support of company commitments
• Proficient in one type/model aircraft and helper on additional type/model aircraft
• Utilize AMS program
• Training of maintenance personnel
• Manage assigned maintenance programs
• Assist with coordination of detachment requirements with Crew Chiefs (as necessary)
• Obtain and maintain Detachment Lead qualification
• The Aircraft Mechanic troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls
• This mechanic repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls
• This mechanic performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections
• This mechanic: adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections
• Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures’ manuals
• Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects
• Additional responsibilities as delineated by Production Supervisor and Crew Chiefs
• Manage programs as assigned

We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performing the duties of a Structural Shipfitter daily.
- Job duties include but are not limited to measuring, laying out, cutting, grinding, forming and drilling of assorted materials (aluminum, steel, stainless, gasket, rubber, screen, etc.).
- Works from Engineering drawings, sketches and written and verbal instructions.
- Reading from computer screens to retrieve work instructions, blueprints or other documents
- Maintains records, forms and logs as required.
- Typical tools and equipment used in the performance of duties are: MIG and TIG welders, manual hand tools, mechanical, pneumatic, cordless and electric tools including porta power, come a long, clamps, hammers and mauls, gougers, grinders, saws, band saws, drills, tapes and scales.
- Must be capable of handling chemicals and solvents including alcohol, cleaning solvents, cutting oil, tool oil, etc.
- Housekeeping of shop and work area (keeping work area neat and clean) daily.
- Must visually inspect work to drawings and sketches for completeness and dimensional correctness.
- May direct the activities or tasks of helpers, as assigned.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- 2nd shift hours- Monday-Thursday 4:30 pm - 3:00 am

About This Role
This is an opportunity to work as a Systems Engineer in our Land Systems organizations on products such Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV). Our teams are engaged in multiple cutting edge development programs for defense applications. This is an interdisciplinary role, enabling the full life cycle development of our products. This role may include supporting development of new products and product upgrades, payload design, integration and test, and development of fielding solutions for our military and commercial customers. Required experience includes hardware and/or software integration, managing requirements derivation and allocation, and successfully working within a collaborative team environment. A desire to take ownership of design efforts to ensure integration of new technology into our vehicles is essential.
· Supporting full-lifecycle engineering design and development activities on established UxS and disruptive new products.
· Using technical acumen and problem-solving skills toward the execution of systems engineering tasks – including (but not limited to) requirements analysis, impact assessments, systems modeling (SysML), trade studies, requirements derivation, design review support, integration planning, test, verification, risk management, and engineering analysis.
· Preparing and presenting systems engineering work products to internal review teams and external customers at program milestone reviews.
· Interacting daily with technical leads, program managers, planners, technicians, and other engineers.
· Driving tasks to completion independently – aided by appropriate supervision and mentoring.
· Collaborating with others within the workgroup, with other departments, and the customer.
JOB SCOPE:
· Set-up and operate computer and/or electronic controlled machines. Work from operation sheets, specifications, blue prints, manuals, etc. Use shop mathematics, handbook formulas and a variety of precision instruments and a working knowledge of the cutting qualities of material, machine feeds and speeds to perform necessary functions to operate machine i.e. load, locate and align part in fixture. Install specified numerical control tape at designated position in tape reader place all console on operation station switches, selectors and controls in proper sequence and various operations necessary to complete machine operations. Must determine cause of malfunction and make necessary adjustments. Review Cordax readouts, assist Tool Design, as needed, in new fixture, program readouts, and setup during the period of operation for required quality of parts. Maintain the set-up during the period of operation and correct tooling faults and tryout set-ups.

· Operate machinery to machine, process, refurbish and finish parts to required specifications. Machining operations include: Machine Polishing, Various Lathes and Milling Operations and other Manufacturing or Machining Operations.
· Utilize equipment necessary to perform the following operations on engine components to required specifications: Straightening, Assembling, Bench Grinding and Polishing, Mill and Drill, Balancing and Automatic Saw.
· Utilize blueprints, processes, bill of materials and measuring and inspection equipment to complete assigned tasks.

- Submitting monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual reports / permits to federal, state, local and corporate offices as required.
- Interpreting OSHA and Environmental Standards and regulations and maintain cooperative relationships with OSHA, OSHA-approved State Plans, EPA, and State Environmental Agencies.
- Analyzing proposed and final regulations for impacts to manufacturing operations that could require substantial capital expenditures or compliance challenges.
- Provide technical support in the transport of hazardous/regulated materials and wastes.
- Support environmental compliance initiatives to include waste management, air monitoring, stormwater monitoring, wastewater treatment, etc.
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating environmental training courses for supervisors and employees as needed.
· Examining work environments for various physical, chemical, biological, and environmental hazards and stresses (i.e. comprehensive risk assessments, exposure assessment, process hazard assessments, and ergonomic assessments) and make recommendations for the EHS improvements required of that equipment and/or processes.
- Assist with incident investigations on injuries or illnesses and provide recommendations to prevent recurrences, using the root cause analysis method.

We are seeking a talented test engineer with an Electrical Engineering background to support a major US Air Force Program. As a Test Engineer, you will perform planning, coordination, and execution of electronic component, subsystem, and full system tests as well as other evaluation activities across the program. Responsibilities
- Generate Test Plans that provide verification of system requirements and identify necessary test equipment, fixtures, and facilities.
- Collaborate with multi-discipline design team to produce Test Procedures and Data Collection methods.
- Coordinate, schedule and lead test activities to ensure that test requirements and objectives are met per customer/program requirements and engineering and quality standards.
- Familiarity with Mil-Spec testing requirements as well as vibration, shock, and environmental test methods and equipment is desired
- Perform Test Readiness Reviews and produce Test Reports
- Lead both in-house and field data collection activities including setup and operation of high-speed cameras, telemetry systems, onboard instrumentation, and data recorders.
- Perform preliminary “quick-look” analysis and provide post-test de-brief to engineering team and customers
- Coordinate with appropriate program, engineering and external organizations during test planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases
- Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and in writing) and have good organizational skill.
